This weekend, on the road to Enoshima (A really beautiful small island not so far), we make a brief stop at the small train station named “Kurami” (倉見駅 Kurami-eki). It is about one hour from Shinjuku.
Kurami Station was the original terminal station the Sagami Railway and opened on April 1, 1926. Now this JR line goes from Hashimoto to Chigasaki. In this small quiet well and very special design station, there is a large Tanuki, a small pond with some goldfish, two large car bicycle park, also very quiet residential area around. A stop of 10 minutes, the time to do some photos, and we leave for Enoshima.
